Forge stuck on unpacking.

I've been trying to download forge for a few months, and every time I try, for example, 1.12.2, it always stops downloading on "Unpacking packed file akka-actor_2.11-2.3.3.jar.pack.xz" When I try downloading the 1.15.2 one, it works. (I have a mac computer).

Please help! Mine won't work for 1.7.10 how do I fix it! I get stuck in unpacking akka

1.12 and 1.7 are no longer supported on this forum. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
