I've seen many mods and even minecraft servers that are able to outline blocks in white. I've also seen it in vanilla minecraft. How do you do this in java? (what is the method) Thank you!

I do not know how to do it myself, I haven't had the need to yet, but:

Look through the vanilla sources in the places where you've seen it happen (for a block or item or whatever it was that you saw), and see if you can do it in the same way.

The vanilla source shows how to do all kinds of things

Now that I think about it I only saw mobs have a white outline, never blocks. I couldn't find anything in the source code for creating a white outline on blocks.

Thank you so much I've been using your minecraftbyexample tutorial for half a year and it's been the most useful tutorial i've seen so far. I never saw the VoxelShapeHighlighter though. Anyways thank you for doing what you do and helping everyone learn minecraft modding.
