I wanted to create World variable with already set parametres like WorldInfo, Seed. I need this to use create ChunkGeneratorOverworld at my client while I'm on server.

What are you trying to achieve? Are you trying to load the world?

Why?

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked.

DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.

That won't work on servers unless you are OP, because only OPs can get the world seed.

I understand, but if I know the seed and know that generation settings are default can I somehow create World object?

You'd have to create a ServerWorld, because client worlds don't generate anything. And those rely on a MinecraftServer instance that is started... This is a big can of worms you are opening here.

I see... But do you know in which class Minecraft creates MinecraftServer? Can't find :(

EDIT: I realized it is in New instance creation

You can look at Minecraft#launchIntegratedServer.

You will most likely have to adjust it considerably, as that method shuts down everything else and prepares to join a single player game.

Thanks!

You should really just make the mod server side and send whatever information you need from there to the client.

1. Do not follow tutorials on YouTube, especially TechnoVision (previously called Loremaster) and HarryTalks, due to their promotion of bad practice and usage of outdated code.

2. Always post your code.

3. Never copy and paste code. You won't learn anything from doing that.

5. Learn to use your IDE, especially the debugger.

Support & Bug Reports:

Spoiler

1. Read the EAQ before asking for help. Remember to provide the appropriate log(s).

2. Versions below 1.11 are no longer supported due to their age. Update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
