I'm kinda new to making mods and I'm not entirely sure how to build the .jar file that goes into the mods folder.

If anyone can explain how to do it, that would be greatly appreciated.

Once everything you need is in the

"src/main/java" and "src/main/resources"

If you are running with Eclipse

Use the Command Line in the folder where the

gradlew

file is, and run this command:

gradlew build

This will automatically produce the .jar file with your mod inside ready to run

I can't get it to work. Is there a way for me to send the source code to you and you could do it.

"DeferredRegister<>" should look like "DeferredRegister<>" but because it is "depricated"(whatever that means) it wont work.

It causes no problems when running the mod, but it doesn't let me build it.

*btw I'm using IntelliJ

You need to install a JDK (same java version as you are using) and add it to the PATH environment variable, if the installer doesn't do it automatically.

If you dont know how to do this, there are plenty of guides/tutorials on Google.

I've installed and reinstalled multiple versions of java and I still get the error.
