In Forge 1.16.1, when I launch Minecraft, and go to create a new world, the world loads to 100% and then the game crashes. I've tried removing mods that I didn't want anymore cus I thought maybe I had too many, didn't work. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Forge, didn't work. And I tried updating Java, didn't work. Any ideas as to what the problem might be?

*note: I am aware that Forge 1.16.1 is currently in beta, but I didn't want to assume that that's why it's crashing*

This is my Forum Signature, I am currently attempting to transform it into a small guide for fixing easier issues using spoiler blocks to keep things tidy.

As the most common issue I feel I should put this outside the main bulk:

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.

For players asking for assistance with Forge please expand the spoiler below and read the appropriate section(s) in its/their entirety.

The mod "Corpse" needs to be updated to work with Forge versions after and including 1.16.1-32.0.67.

It said that it was compatible with Forge versions after and including 1.16.1 so that is weird. Here's where I found the mod: [removed link to repost site - diesieben07]

Please do not look for or download mods from 9minecraft. It is a known mod reposting site.

See the FAQ entry and the StopModReposts site for more information.

32.0.67+ has a breaking change, due to removing a method previously used for registering commands. Any mods registering any commands will need an update to work in 32.0.67+.

Either downgrade your Forge version to 32.0.66 or delete the Corpse mod for now, until the mod is updated for 32.0.67+.

Ok. Thanks for your help. I won't download mods from 9minecraft anymore.
