Darkfiend009 Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 (edited) Details: Minecraft 1.16.1 Forge 32.0.106 latest.log debug.log Issue: I've run into a problem on my current/server world where a few recipes from multiple mods that used to work have stopped working. I will preface this by saying there are no custom recipes/scripts involved. The recipes show in JEI and even show the + to add the components of the recipe to the crafting table. When the items are added manually or via JEI, there is no completed item/block as an output. The client appears to be seeing the recipes but the server no longer does.The server was recently updated from Forge 32.0.75 to 32.0.106 but i can't confirm that the issues occurred after/because of the update. Some examples of recipes that stopped working: Quark: Cactus Paste -> Green Dye Forbidden and Arcanus: Mystery Wood -> Mysterywood Planks The issue does not persist throughout an entire mod, either. I can craft Mysterywood from Mysterywood logs in Forbidden and Arcanus, for instance. Troubleshooting: As for my own troubleshooting, i have access to a second server so i used the same forge server installation (libraries, minecraft JAR, Forge JAR), mods, and config files from the original server and uploaded them to the new server and created a new world. I was able to craft the items without issue. On the server with the crafting issues, I've also tried deleting player data, deleting all configs/mod files and re-uploading them, and deleting server config files from the world directory and letting them regenerate on their own. None of these steps have produced a resolution. I am at a loss as to what to try next and am appreciative any assistance you are able to provide. Edited August 11, 2020 by Darkfiend009 Quote

Set the launcher profile's GameDir property to the pack's instance folder (not the instances folder, the folder that has the pack's name on it). Now launch the pack through that profile and follow the "Mojang Launcher" instructions above. Video: Spoiler or alternately, Fallback ("No logs are generated"): If you don't see logs generated in the usual place, provide the launcher_log.txt from .minecraft Server Not Starting: Spoiler If your server does not start or a command window appears and immediately goes away, run the jar manually and provide the output. Reporting Illegal/Inappropriate Adfocus Ads: Spoiler Get a screenshot of the URL bar or copy/paste the whole URL into a thread on the General Discussion board with a description of the Ad. Lex will need the Ad ID contained in that URL to report it to Adfocus' support team. Posting your mod as a GitHub Repo: Spoiler When you have an issue with your mod the most helpful thing you can do when asking for help is to provide your code to those helping you. The most convenient way to do this is via GitHub or another source control hub. When setting up a GitHub Repo it might seem easy to just upload everything, however this method has the potential for mistakes that could lead to trouble later on, it is recommended to use a Git client or to get comfortable with the Git command line. The following instructions will use the Git Command Line and as such they assume you already have it installed and that you have created a repository. Open a command prompt (CMD, Powershell, Terminal, etc). Navigate to the folder you extracted Forge’s MDK to (the one that had all the licenses in). Run the following commands: git init git remote add origin [Your Repository's URL] In the case of GitHub it should look like: https://GitHub.com/[Your Username]/[Repo Name].git git fetch git checkout --track origin/master git stage * git commit -m "[Your commit message]" git push Navigate to GitHub and you should now see most of the files. note that it is intentional that some are not synced with GitHub and this is done with the (hidden) .gitignore file that Forge’s MDK has provided (hence the strictness on which folder git init is run from) Now you can share your GitHub link with those who you are asking for help. When i load these exact mods, configs, and forge files on a different server with a new world, the recipes load. So the ingredients and tags exist but are failing to be seen in my existing world. It seems to be this issue https://github.com/TheIllusiveC4/Polymorph/issues/24 (& https://github.com/TheIllusiveC4/Polymorph/issues/10 )- which also explains why some recipes randomly stopped working and others worked again.
