Hi I like to play with a lot of mods (forge tells me i have 40 mods installed)

however, i think my hard drive got a little slower than usual. (i think it got broken slightly)

I'm young so i don't think i can get a new one for a while.

rest of my specs can handle minecraft smoothly, however, when i play modded minecraft

my mods get corrupted alot for no reason, so i either have to re-download the whole mod pack i made myself

or

I can fix it if im lucky.

with a 7200rpm ( i think it only runs about 5000rpm max now)

hdd, with i7 processer and 6gb of ram, how many mods can i put in?

currently, it takes a long time to load the game, but once in it, it works fine at 60-150 fps, fps sometimes dropping to 0 than going up again at full screen with a 64x64 texture.
