when i want to instal the recomended file for 1.8.9 i get an error when i want to download it.

this it what it says: these libraries failed to download. try again. org.scala-lang:scala-compiler:2.11.1

and i tried it a couple of times

1.8 is no longer supported on this forum.

Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
