Posted December 27, 20204 yr As you can see from the image, my custom translucent blocks on the left there aren't "connecting" like the vanilla blocks. I figured this would be a common problem, but searching only turns up questions where the answer is "use notSolid()". I've implemented that as well as RenderType.getTranslucent(). How do I fix this?
December 27, 20204 yr Have you looked at the vanilla classes involved with Ice and Glass? (Also compare with Leaves) There (was at one time) a method called DoesSideRender which controlled this behavior. December 28, 20204 yr Author I dug around a while for functions with similar names. The solution was to make the block class inherit BreakableBlock, a very unintuitively named class.
