Dear Forge creators,

I have found a bug regarding joining vanilla Minecraft servers and having forge installed at the same time in 1.6.1. I have the newest version of forge and The second I deleted it I could join the server. Anyone else have this problem?

I installed it using the installer and installed the client

    I also want to make sure I am installing forge correctly. Do I hit extract or install client when I run the installer?

    I have extracted the files and installed the client. I don't get the bad login error anymore but it freezes on "logging in". Would extracting the files have anything to do with this?

    Nothing to do with Forge, you';ve installed it wrong by following shitty tutorials instead of using the supported install method.

    I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
