some updates for 1.6

 

MultiMC is not compatible w/ 1.6

 

Installation for Magic Launcher(tanks to Munimentum on the Magic Launcher thread)

 

 

- Use the official launcher to download and start once Minecraft 1.6.2.

- Use the Forge installer to install Forge

- Use the official launcher to start once Minecraft with the Forge profile.

- Start Magic Launcher

- Click "Setup"

- Select Environment "Forge9.10.X.Y"

((if you want to use OptiFine)

- Click "Add" -> select the OptiFine ZIP file

- Click "Advanced"

- In the field "Parameters" add "-Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true"

- Click "OK")

- Login and play

    1'st one should not be used. MagicLauncher is not need to install Forge.

    I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
