It should just be a .log file. And if you're providing us with that, go with the debug.log. Though, if this doesn't exist, you'll need to provide the launcher logs instead. That should be in launcher_log.txt in the .minecraft folder.

There can be numerous issues here as it could be one of the mods in the pack or the extra ones you provided. You can test if its Forge by creating a duplicate of the world and loading it with no mods and attempt to break something. If it's one of the mods, you'll need to narrow it down yourself. If one in the pack, it's best to report it to the pack creator and the mod author. If not, report it to the mod author. Judging by the description, it seems like a datapack in one of the mods replaced the tag entries when mining with a pickaxe.

If it is crashing before Minecraft loads up, enable the launcher logs and post the contents here.

If you are unable to download Forge through adfocus, you can get a direct install link by clicking Show All Versions, navigating to the information button next to the version, and clicking the direct install link. This should be used as a last resort, however, as Forge covers its required costs through adfocus.

How are you attempting to download the file? Are you downloading a .jar file? Do you have Java installed on your machine?

What version of Minecraft? And provide the debug.log the profile in question.

Use the same recipe type as the crafting table. The recipe and serializer is the only thing that needs to be unique.

Depending on your profile configuration's game directory (either .minecraft or wherever you set it), there should be a logs folder which contains that information.

This forum does not support other mod loaders but Forge. Ask wherever Fabric has its support.

It would be in your logs folder, wherever that would be depending on your profile configuration. It should point to the game directory.
