  1. How did you install Forge? Did you rename or delete any files?
  2. 1.8.9 is no longer supported on this forum due to its age. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
  3. I get suspicious every time someone says "the official website" instead of giving a URL, several times I have had people say that and when asked they give the URL to a site rehosting Forge and/or other mods illegally. Please give a URL, and provide your installer log, it will have the same name as the installer but with .log on the end: Installer: forge-{version}-installer.jar Log: forge-{version}-installer.jar.log Note: If you have Windows Explorer set to hide file extensions(as is the default setting), they will look like this: Installer: forge-{version}-installer Log: forge-{version}-installer.jar
  4. Tera: Please do not hijack other people's threads, if you have an issue make your own. Computing: Please provide your installer log, it will have the same name as the installer but with .log on the end: Installer: forge-{version}-installer.jar Log: forge-{version}-installer.jar.log Note: If you have Windows Explorer set to hide file extensions(as is the default setting), they will look like this: Installer: forge-{version}-installer Log: forge-{version}-installer.jar
  5. Wait a sec, what version are you running?
  6. 1.7.10 is no longer supported on this forum due to its age. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
  7. Update Java to the latest version of 8 and uninstall any old versions you have. https://adoptopenjdk.net
  8. Please provide your debug.log as described in the EAQ and my signature below
  9. I'm going to assume you're talking about the Twitch client, which is not made the the Forge team so we can't really help you with it
  10. Please provide debug.log from both the server and the client
  11. If it's too big for the forums you can use imgur and post the link here
  12. I was talking to all of you, this thread is borderline dead as OP has not said anything in a month and a half
  13. User was banned for using a cracked launcher. Buy the game.
  14. 1.8.9 is no longer supported on this forum due to its age. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.

  16. Please don't hijack other people's threads. If you have an issue please make your own thread.
  17. Run the jar from cmd/terminal and post what it says
  18. Please don't Necro old threads, if you have an issue make your own.
  19. Can you please show the message where it says you need something called lex?
  20. :25565 is not necessary as it is the default port and implied whenever there is no port specified. Have you restarted your router since you changed the settings?
  21. This is the bit that caught me when I first port forwarded... try restarting your router after changing the settings, I can't speak for all routers but on mine it needed a reboot for the settings to take effect
  22. Updating wise as long as Forge itself is the only thing that needs updating and everything the new version of Forge needs is the same as the old version the installer should work fine offline. Installing Forge new or updating Forge where the new version has to update libraries, it's doable but isn't 100% offline, i.e. you'd need to run the installer on a PC with an internet connection before bringing the installed files over to a PC without an internet connection.
