  1. This is the bit that caught me when I first port forwarded... try restarting your router after changing the settings, I can't speak for all routers but on mine it needed a reboot for the settings to take effect
  2. Updating wise as long as Forge itself is the only thing that needs updating and everything the new version of Forge needs is the same as the old version the installer should work fine offline. Installing Forge new or updating Forge where the new version has to update libraries, it's doable but isn't 100% offline, i.e. you'd need to run the installer on a PC with an internet connection before bringing the installed files over to a PC without an internet connection.
  3. Using one of the paste sites listed in my signature, the log itself will have the same name as the installer but with .log on the end: Installer: forge-{version}-installer.jar Log: forge-{version}-installer.jar.log Note: If you have Windows Explorer set to hide file extensions(as is the default setting), they will look like this: Installer: forge-{version}-installer Log: forge-{version}-installer.jar
  4. Either you did more than that and undid it or you got your MDK from somewhere you shouldn't have. If you modified something and undid it see if you can spot the difference between the orignal and your undone version. If you downloaded the MDK from somewhere other than https://files.minecraftforge.net/ then please report it.
  5. 1.7.10 is no longer supported on this forum due to its age. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
  6. Pixelmon are not properly indicating in their mod that it requires a certain (or subsequent) version of Forge. This version is identified on their website but not in the mod itself, please bug them about it: https://pixelmonmod.com/discord
  7. Uninstall the old version and install the latest Java 8. https://adoptopenjdk.net
  8. Please be more specific. Where are you downloading Forge from? Where are you looking for the new version after you've installed it?
  9. Please don't Necro old threads, if you have an issue make your own.
  10. Where did you get your build.gradle if you didn't modify anything above that line? Note: I'm counting changes that you undid as modifying.
  11. Pixelmon are not properly indicating in their mod that it requires a certain (or subsequent) version of Forge. This version is identified on their website but not in the mod itself, please bug them about it: https://pixelmonmod.com/discord
  12. You do not NEED Optifine, you WANT Optifine
  13. So you're saying you found LibraryEx on Curse and you don't see a version listed that's 1.0.8 or later?
  14. Don't use cape mods. Scroll up, 1.13 and onwards has Forge listed among the vanilla versions rather than booted to the bottom.
  15. You have the wrong Forge version for the pack
  16. No, that looks like you just sent the same file again
  17. Can't say I'm familiar with that particular router, but I found this video (in a spoiler because the embedded player is huge):
  18. Does this mean you asked for permission and got it?
  19. Unless you're the one paying the bills you'll have to ask permission from whoever does, because port forwarding poses a slight security risk to your network, plus you'll need the password to the router.
  20. That's horrible. They're even promoting nothing but rehost sites. What exact steps did you follow?
  21. Did you not see libraryEx on CurseForge?
  22. How did you install Forge? Please list your steps and where you got things.
  23. How experienced are you with computers?
  24. What do you mean by "normal 1.12.2 minecraft"? Note: Twilight forest does nothing to the overworld.
  25. What's the full output of the command?
