Minecraft Crashing with my modpack (1.12.2)
DaemonUmbra replied to wolfapck103's topic in Support & Bug Reports
Did you read up on StopModReposts? Their main page gives a reason why this would be the case. -
At this point the game hasn't even started yet so there won't be a game log or crash log. Please provide your launcher_log.txt from .minecraft
-
That is not a debug.log, please read my signature for details.

The filenames of one or more of your mods suggests you got them from a repost site. Please read up on the StopModReposts project (link in my signature) for info on why this is a bad thing. -

I've seen this before and idk what causes it. Try using Java 8 to run the installer. -
Crash on launch with certain mods starting at forge 28.0.34
DaemonUmbra replied to kemus's topic in Support & Bug Reports
This is due to a change I made without properly testing it, I've PR-ed a fix. -

Please provide your installer log, it will have the same name as the installer but with .log on the end: Installer: forge-{version}-installer.jar Log: forge-{version}-installer.jar.log Note: If you have Windows Explorer set to hide file extensions(as is the default setting), they will look like this: Installer: forge-{version}-installer Log: forge-{version}-installer.jar -
Check the Pixelmon website and make sure you're using the version of Forge that Pixelmon is designed to work with

Is Forge 10.13.4.1614 for 1.7.10 stable?
DaemonUmbra replied to mind_drive's topic in Support & Bug Reports
1.7.10 is no longer supported on this forum due to its age. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support. -
That log shows you starting the launcher and nothing else.

Jurassic craft+F and A revived= crash?
DaemonUmbra replied to KlingonBoi's topic in Support & Bug Reports
I don't understand how being new to minecraft makes you think that's the best way to share a text file on the internet. Just send the file either through attaching it to a reply, or through one of the paste sites in my signature. -

How do you add ram to 1.12.2 forge server?
DaemonUmbra replied to Rookield's topic in Support & Bug Reports
It works best when you don't rename files (renaming the forge jar does not harm anything but makes version management hard). If your file's name has spaces in it you need to put it in quotes ("forge jar file.jar"). -
What launcher are you using? Please provide a screenshot.

Using Forge to load 1.12.2 instead of 1.14.4
DaemonUmbra replied to Areolata's topic in Support & Bug Reports
That used to be the case, not anymore. Apparently it's not obvious how to use it unless you've looked at it a while like I have. (If you're referring to separate saves and mods folders, the game directory option is what controls those)
