  1. NVM, I fixed it Thanks Lex, you're awesome. This game wouldnt be worth playing without you
  2. Ok, I removed my whole mods folder to see if a mod was causing it, and it still didnt load, so I guess it cant be a mod. I cant find where the EAQ explains disabling the loading screen. I even used cntrl+F and searched disable loading screen, and nothing came up Am I looking on the wrong page?
  3. Ok, thanks Lex. I will try that and get back to you. Altho, I dont understand why I only have this problem since the java update. Things worked fine before it. Sorry for being a pain in your ass. I know you're busy and I appreciate you taking the time to help me with this.
  4. Oh sorry (again) I thought you meant crash report Do you mean the "latest.log" folder in the logs folder? It just has a whole lot of this:
  5. Sorry, there are no logs to post. There is no crash. I click the play button, it greys out, says launching for a couple of seconds, then goes back to the play button again. This happened right after I updated java to version 1.8.0_65. I didnt put more details in my post because I assumed this would happen to everybody who got the update and people would know what I was talking about. But apparently this is an isolated event that is only happening to me, which makes no sense to me whatsoever. Does anyone know why this might be happening? Im using 1.8 with the recommended version of forge. (11.14.3.1450) Also, I am not a guy
  6. Since the latest java update I can no longer launch any version of minecraft that uses forge. I can launch vanilla just fine, but forge seems to be broken. Anyone else with this problem and have a fix? Thanks!
  7. I just wanted to pop in and say THANK YOU LexManos, and crew, for all the hard work you put into this. Minecraft wouldnt be much fun without you!
  8. Thanks for that info, Lexmanos. Its the best news Ive heard in weeks You guys rock, by the way. Thanks for all your hard work. I know you dont get paid for this, and I really appreciate what you do.
  9. Well perhaps they should hire the forge team to help them do it, since the forge team has managed to rewrite the code for it all a couple of times a month for a very long time now, and Mojang cant seem to figure it out
  10. I think Mojang needs to make a contract with the forge people, and work together with them, so that whenever they update minecraft, the new version of forge is included in the launcher download, with no separate instalation needed. Then all mods can be directly plugged in with no hassle. How many people actually only plan vanilla anyway? The modding community is a vital part of the game, and I dont think minecraft would be nearly as popular without it. I think Mojang owes a large part of their success to the modding community and should work more closely with them.
  11. I have been experimenting with two different versions of 1.3.2 minecraft. One has modloader (no forge), and the other has the new forge universal. In the forge version, any time I try to log into the game with a texture pack selected, the game crashes. I have to switch to default texture pack every time I log out, or I cant log in again without manually removing the texture packs from their folder. Once Im in the game, I can switch to a texture pack and it runs fine. I just cant log in with any pack selected. Also, two mods Ive found that I cant get to work with forge are: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/818831-132-fbl-flat-bedrock-layer/ http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/943697-132gloughts-mods-superflat-132-no-grass-block-spreadingcrystal-storage/ I'll post more if I come across them. Thanks for all your hard work!
