  1. I haven't been modding for a while, so I don't know if anything's changed or not. Log: http://pastebin.com/NCpgLTbJ build.gradle: http://pastebin.com/vLZsZxw7
  2. But it's annoying when you have to check for a new version every day...
  3. These are not my tutorials, they are TheXFactor117's. This guy deserves way more popularity. Currently the only people who know his tutorials are people visiting MCF. He, considers that the viewer of the tutorials might not be super familiar with Java, and explains what happens in the code. I, personally, still recommend checking out some basic Java tutorials. are my personal favourites. The guy's currently inactive due to school and too many projects, one of them I've recently started helping. Still, support is usually provided by me and someone else called UberAffe, who may
  4. Mainly because it checks for the item once you reference it. It sees its definition, then uses it. Also, you used to be able to do this in 1.7 by extending BlockBush.
  5. I'm an idiot. I'm experienced with Java, how did I not notice that.
  6. Crash report: http://pastebin.com/AYQqfk2s BlockOBBaseFluid: http://pastebin.com/8TdrCtuy BlockOliveOil: http://pastebin.com/xn2b3gB6 FluidOliveOil: http://pastebin.com/sKUaeWR5 ModInit: http://pastebin.com/mDqKQHL2 RegisterHelper: http://pastebin.com/bUkuYmKN Main class: http://pastebin.com/Tf5sbQnV
  7. This is a 1.8 vanilla bug. Don't worry about it too much.
  8. Great. You provided no help whatsoever to this topic. Good job. I might have. Though half of it isn't useful anymore after you moved it... Plus, can't we have our fun once in a while?
  9. oh my god This is the modder support forum. The forum where people who program mods come to get help. Are you expecting us to fix your problems without a log or pretty much anything? Do you even know what a log is? [lmgtfy]minecraft server log[/lmgtfy] You probably forgot to install some core mods. Do you know what that is? [lmgtfy]minecraft core mods[/lmgtfy] EDIT: I'm curious, what DID you do? I wouldn't think of one thing someone like you could do.
  10. I've been following http://www.minecraftforge.net/wiki/Create_a_Fluid yet right clicking my fluids' blocks with a bucket returns a water bucket. Fluids' block class (they're all the same except the names changed): package com.hlaaftana.mods.OlivicBlocks.blocks; import com.hlaaftana.mods.OlivicBlocks.help.Reference; import com.hlaaftana.mods.OlivicBlocks.init.ModFluids; import com.hlaaftana.mods.OlivicBlocks.tabs.ModTabs; import cpw.mods.fml.relauncher.Side; import cpw.mods.fml.relauncher.SideOnly; import net.minecraft.block.material.Material; import net.minecraft.client.renderer.tex
  11. Never mind. Solved it. Needed to return 0. What an idiot I am.
  12. Outdated. Doesn't work. Hence the item ID is being used.
  13. Those aren't the sides, considering very simple geometry. Yet I think not, that area is where the sunset happens. Might need to take someone else's word for it.
  14. I'm pretty sure Random Things or some mod like that already does this. Plus, the moon is a texture. You could use a texture pack and a long lasting animation.
  15. I've looked everywhere for a solution on this. There appears to be no tutorial on this. I checked GitHub repos, checked the source code for the game (Forged) and I still can't learn how to.
