  1. Post the full install log from the console. Those classes exist just fine.
  2. you need to run Forge at least once in the normal launcher first as Magic Launcher doesn't download all the dependencies like it should.
  3. Give us detailed instructions on what you're doing seriously it shouldn't be this hard and manual installations a PITA. You have to make sure to be in the same folder as the jar -.-
  4. Whats wrong with using the enchantments that exist?
  5. There is no way to tell vanilla clients to connect to a different server. You can look into things like BungeeCord. This isn't Forge's domain.
  6. How did you install it? Use the intaller we provide.
  7. Edit the profile and change the version. Whatever profile you're launching. By default, the installer creates a 'Forge' profile and sets it's version to whatever you're installing.
  8. There are reasons why they have limits on the vanilla enchants -.- If you break those limits you're taking any 'bugs' you may get.
  9. https://github.com/MinecraftForge/MinecraftForge/blob/master/patches/minecraft/net/minecraft/item/Item.java.patch#L483
  10. http://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/index.php?action=files Get the newest versions Install it like normal...
  11. For the same reason other release posts are 'out of date' -.- Jut because I didn't make a full release post about it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. The link I provided above lists ALL versions including the latest, and recomended, you should be using that. The release threads are a periodical summation of what we have been doing.
  12. Yes.. I wouldnt tell you to update if there wasnt a update -.- http://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/index.php?action=files
  13. Yes its compleetly possible to be done and quite a few modders already do it. Most notably Modular Power Suits.
  14. It all depends on what items are spawning and how. If a mod you're using screws with the drops then it's probably doing something wrong. Forge itself does very little when it comes to the drops. If you can provide exact steps to reproduce that'd be good. You need to be careful with explosions as items only have 1 health and will die when ANYTHING hurts them. Including the explosion. Also remember that entity items will collect themselves into a single entity if they can stack. So you may not see say.. 5 blocks floating on the ground you may just see one with a stack size of 5.
  15. Forge doesn't cause 'random freezing' Forge actually has many performance improvements. You're gunna have to figure out what is causing the lag. I suggest tossing the game into jprofiler or something, or killing mods untill you figure out which mod is doing it.
  16. That thread clearly states NOT forge compatible. Don't use it.
  17. Considering 804 doesn't work at all on 1.5.2 and yet you say it does i'm gunna go with you're doing something horribly horribly wrong. But it's good to hear that it doesn't have issue on 1.6. Thats gunna be my suggestion, Update to 1.6 If your server doesn't wanna update yell at them.
  18. Logs Screen Shots What enchantments do you have on? You know.. Some information that could possibly help us.
  19. http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/jarfix.html
  20. profile gameDir Use it.
  21. Most likely installed optifine wrong, follow the directions on there page. And int he profile option you can set when the launcher dissapears, set it to 'never' so you get the console log.
