I've tried the latest forge and even gone back one release but still I can't play on a LAN if I leave a map and try to re-enter. It keeps saying that block ID's do not match those in the world?

Both computers have same mods but it also happens if I play solo on my machine. I create a new world, play around, then leave and when re-entering, that message pops up.

I have no idea if it's forge, or the mods. I have tried adding one mod at a time, but whatever mod I add, this happens.

What mods do you have installed?

Just to add. I've tried a fresh install today but same problems. If I only install TMI then it seems to be ok, but I don't think it needs to assign any blocks for the mod? REI minimap also seems fine. As soon as I add ONE mod which uses blocks, then BAM. I was hoping to catch a particular mod that was causing the problem but unfortunately they all do it (the ones using their own blocks). As I said, I have no idea if this is a Forge issue, minecraft issue, or even the mods? I just hope you experts can give me some clue please. By the way, I think the work you put into this is simply amazing. Has Mojang hinted at any kind of modloader being put into minecraft in the near future or are they scared of mods?

Think I've found the source of the problem after spending hours on it today.

If I install TMI or ReiMinimap alone, they work fine. They even work together.

As soon as I install another forge mod with either of those, the problem starts.

I am thinking that although a version of TMI claims to be forge, it isn't and neither is reiminimap. Both mods will work if I do not install forge.

I will look to see if there's another map and use that, and wait for not enough items to appear to use instead of TMI.
