I see a ton of new mods, but none of them show a Crafting lists for their new stuff.  Take Steve's Carts, which adds 25 new carts to your game.  WHAT are the 25 carts, and HOW do I build them?  Is there something I'm missing, am I supposed to guess and figure it out myself?

I use Steve's Carts simply as an example, but this applies to most mods.  IC2 has a nice list of all the machines you can build, vanilla minecraft has lists, where are all the others?

In NEI. Or craftGuide.

So, what would happen if I did push that shiny red button over there? ... Really? ... Can I try it? ... Damn.

Both of which are mods.

NotEnoughItems (or "NEI") is a lot like the "TooManyItems" mod except that you can disable cheats with it and just use it to show you recipes or usages of a block/item.

CraftGuide adds a book to the game that can show you all the crafting recipes.

Both support many popular special recipes for popular mods such as IC2, BuildCraft, and RedPower. And it can show absolutely any recipes that use a standard crafting table or furnace as well, even if it's from mods. Give them a shot. Personally, I use both, as sometimes one can show recipes the other can't. Always good to have one to fall back on. :)

Currently in the process of adding some mod support for JohnSmith Texture Pack.

Or risigami's recipe book, but that's broken.

I really like NEI and CraftGuide, excellent item lists.. but is there any website or anything that explains what all of those items are, and how to use them?  Forgecraft adds TONS of new things, 75% of which I have no idea what to do with or what they even do.

We all do that! :P
