I'm not really sure if I'm right but can I know how much ram you assigned to the server?
Edit: Oh, also, this is 1.16.5, not 1.17.

How do i check or add the amount of ram?
Edit: (also i the reason I said the 1.17 thing was because after I downloaded that update the 1.16.5 server stopped working)

Oh, just download Java 8.
1.17 probably installed Java 16 (since that's what it's using) and is making your server think that it has to run on Java 16. And as you probably don't know, Java 16 isn't supported on 1.16.5.
