Hi,

I have an item that uses semi-transparent texture. In older version, I can use RenderTypeLookUp to set render type in order to make the item's texture renders properly.

But in 1.17,  RenderTypeLookUp was removed, and I have no idea how to set render type now.

Any solutions?

I think the class was just renamed to ItemBlockRenderTypes when the switch to official mappings for class names was made.

I think this class is designed to handle block rendering, but I might be wrong.

I'm just trying to render a normal item. Does that still work?

I just tested and good news! You don't need to do anything special to have a semi-transparent item. Just make the texture transparent and you should be good to go!
