How do I install mods after I get Forge to work?

Quick version of this post: I installed Forge and it works and I need to know how to install the actual mods now that Forge is in.

I have successfully installed Forge Mod Loader. However, I have no idea how to actually add the mods in. The 'mods' folder in my .minecraft doesn't do it, and I have heard that Forge for 1.6.2 is just being weird. Here is the link to the instructions I followed to install it:

I thought steps 10 to 15 were weird because I have never heard of anything like them. But without any other mods, I AM ABLE TO RUN MINECRAFT WITH ONLY FORGE INSTALLED AND IT DOES WORK.

So the actual question is, how do I install mods using Forge. I want:

Too Many Items ( http://www.minecraftdl.com/too-many-item… ),

Optifine ( http://www.6minecraft.net/optifine-hd-do… ), and

Not Only More Ores Mod (http://www.9minecraft.net/not-only-more-…

I do know how the whole new system of installing mods in 1.6.2 works, I just don't understand Forge. Thank you for your time/answers!

Please stop using 9minecraft.net, 6minecraft.net, minecraftdl.com, those sites are ad sites that are in no way associated with the actual mods.

Go to the MinecraftForums and you can find all the mods you listed.

And those posts are done by the actual modders and have instructions on how to install them properly.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

After you installed forge; go to your Minecraft folder. Open your mods folder and place your mods in there. Then Your Done! *NOTE* Only Place Compressed folders in there. Usually you download them as a compressed folder

game changed the way you create foods.
for example minecraft 1.21.8 code for the golden apple is
