So I'm trying to build the clean phobos, but I keep getting this error:

Unable to start the daemon process.
This problem might be caused by incorrect configuration of the daemon.
For example, an unrecognized jvm option is used.

I have my JAVA_HOME pointed at the right folder (C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-17.0.1) (I have a 64bit system), so I don't know what the problem is.

Any suggestions?

And just in case I also set the amount of RAM it can use in the gradle.properties file to org.gradle.jvmargs=-Xmx8G.

1.17 and later need Java 16, 1.16.5 and older need Java 8

Now I'm getting another error:

First you need to run "gradlew genEclipseRuns" / "gradlew genIntellijRuns" and then "gradlew eclipse" / "gradlew intellij".

There isn't a setupdecompworkspace any more

Also you should consider reading the README.txt file (there it explains how to set up the workspace and what to do on specific errors)

I got it now I installed the java 16 jdk instead of 8. Now it works thanks!
