GeoActivity v1.4 - expanding the Minecraft Earth

*Now compatible with MC 1.7.2

*Forge Version: 10.12.0.1047

This mod requires Forge to be installed on your Minecraft client!

Features

- 3 new coal types

- new armor/tools sets that can be customized

- new blocks

- new machines

- Chemistry

General Information

This mod adds 3 new different coal ores to the game:

Anthracite Ore - spawns on layers 18-38 in veins of maximum 3 blocks, more difficult to find

Bituminous Ore - spawns on layers 34-48 in veins of maximum 3 blocks, not very hard to find

Lignite Ore - spawns on layer 46-64 in veins of maximum 3 blocks, somewhat common

The mod adds a variety of modular tools that can be upgrade with Perks.There are also tools that act like a pickaxe and shovel in one and a tools which is a pick,shovel,sword,axe and hoe in one.Because they are modular, that means that you can put any Perk you want on it.

Perks range from Wider Radius, Fortune to No drop and Auto-Smelt.There are currently over 10 Perks available.

We also have implement a chemistry system, with atoms and molecules.Currently there are 19 elements that this mod adds.These elements are used in a Chemistry Machine to craft various items.Elements are extracted from items using the Coal Refiner.

There is also a multiblock furnace that can quadruple your resources if used correctly.Be sure to check it out!

The mod is compatible with NEI, so be sure to have that installed if you want to browse the recipes available for each machine.

To install, just place the .zip file in the "mods" folder in your .minecraft folder.

Nice first mod. Keep up the good work, I might make some of the ores a little bit rarer, so it doesn't become over powered. Then again coal is a pain to collect, and easy coal would be nice. (I know coal is really common, but if you have a minecart train you need a lot of it.)

New Forum Design/Update: Issues and Suggestions

Hiho,

first of all I want to say that the new forum design looks really good.

However, there are currently two issues:

In the "Unread" section, the "Mark all as Read" feature seems to be missing - or am I just overlooking it somewhere?
Some threads don’t automatically get marked as read when you open them. So the post still shows up in "Unread," even though you’ve already viewed it.

Then I have a smaller suggestion, referring to the Text Editor:

It is possible to move out the "Inline Code"-Feature from the "More Formatting Options" and add it directly to the Text Editor Tool Bar?
Same for "Quote"-Feature inside the Create Section

These two features are used quite often (at least by me) - as far as I remember, they were also available in the old forum design.

That fixed it! it's still being weird and not actually printing anything to CMD but the logs look fine and eventually the gui generated looking normal. Thanks for your help I've done that on linux before but windows servers have always just worked with one click for some reason for me

Make sure you are using Java 17 JDK

In the start script, replace the word "java" with the java 17 path (javaw.exe) and put it into quotation marks

Hey there, I have a big modpack I'm trying to run that I've put together with two other rather large communities- we have a grand opening scheduled for next week so it's really important that this gets solved ASAP.

The game runs fine in singleplayer, but when trying to run as a server using a hosting website, I've run into quite a massive error log. I've whittled it down to this point- I'm currently not sure what to do, as I believe the main error is relating to the datapack message, but I don't know for sure. Removing the datapack folder doesn't change the message either.

If the fix is something very simple, I apologize. I'm not too experienced with hosting websites and running large modpacks like this on a server.
I'm also not completely sure of which mods are client-only- a large handful of which are already disabled but I could be missing some. I just don't know which ones they would be, if that's causing the issue.
