Ok so alot of the mods i want say they are for 1.16.5. Im very new to this but since they are that version I assumed i needed to also download forge 1.16.5. So when i download for the server part into the folder onto my destop, i get a few files. i created the .bat file and it runs and generates a few files BUT NO EULA??? Not sure why or whats going on i have the most current java i believe since i went straight to java and downloaded what was currently available. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Here is what the .bat said if it helps:

you need to use Forge version 1.16.5 - 36.2.29, download it and run the installer again (use the same folder) this will fix your error

OK nvm i fixed it i also had JDK 17 installed...had to uninstall that it was looking to that java instead

you can use multiple java installations,
you need only to replace the 'java' to the full path of java 8
