June 28, 20223 yr 1.18.2 requires java 17, make sure you start the server with java 17 if you use 'java' in the .bat/.sh file make sure it refers to a java 17 installation if it does not, replace 'java' with the full path of the executable java.exe of java 17
June 28, 20223 yr Author Im sorry but i dont understand what is the full path of the executable java.exe of java 17 or where it is? Also how can i know that it refers to the java 17 installation or not
June 28, 20223 yr On the command line type "where java" to find its location and then "java -version" to err... You should see something like: Quote C:\Users\xxxx>where java C:\Program Files\Common Files\Oracle\Java\javapath\java.exe C:\Users\xxxx>java -version java version "18.0.1.1" 2022-04-22 Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 18.0.1.1+2-6) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 18.0.1.1+2-6, mixed mode, sharing) Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one. If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com You should also read the support forum sticky post.

June 28, 20223 yr Quote the java -version does not always match with the java version of JAVA_HOME run.bat doesn't reference JAVA_HOME? June 28, 20223 yr Quote what do you mean by path? The environment variable the OS uses to find executables. echo %Path% Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you.
