Adding Mod Recipe Types Breaks Multiplayer JEI but Still works in single player.

Whenever I register my mods recipe types to the game i receive no errors in the server log or the client log but it stops showing recipes for all items in JEI. However I can see recipes in single player. When I dont register the types it fixes the issue. How do I prevent this from happening? What am I doing wrong?

This is the line I comment out to fix the issue (prevents the types from registering)

public OrangeSunshine() {
        IEventBus modEventBus = FMLJavaModLoadingContext.get().getModEventBus();

        ITEMS.register(modEventBus);
        BLOCKS.register(modEventBus);
        SOUNDS.register(modEventBus);
        DRUGS.register(modEventBus);
        ModTileEntities.register(modEventBus);
        ModContainers.register(modEventBus);
        ModVillagers.VILLAGER_PROFESSIONS.register(modEventBus);
        ModVillagers.POINT_OF_INTEREST_TYPES.register(modEventBus);

        ModItems.init(modEventBus);
        ModBlocks.init();
        ModSounds.init();
        PacketHandler.init();

        ModRecipeTypes.register(modEventBus); // issue line

        modEventBus.addListener(this::setup);
        modEventBus.addListener(this::enqueueIMC);
        modEventBus.addListener(this::processIMC);
        modEventBus.addListener(this::doClientStuff);

        MinecraftForge.EVENT_BUS.register(this);
    }

You don't directly register into registries with forge. You are trying to do it in the mod's constructor.

You should use the same DeferredRegistry pattern you used for the serializers to register the recipe types.

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com  You should also read the support forum sticky post.
