[1.18.1] Errors in current datapack prevented the world from loading

Recommended Posts

so, i was making a mod, and then when i tried loading it, it came up with this error: Errors in currently selected datapacks prevented the world from loading. You can either try to load it with only the vanilla data pack ("safe mode") or go back to the title screen to manually fix it.

I have tried debugging my mod, but nothing works.

Any help appreciated!

Are you sure it is the full debug.log from the logs folder, since the log does not contains any indicate of your problem.
If this is the full debug.log please post launcher_log.txt as well.

the game doesn't crash, it just wont let me load any worlds

It was just a copy paste, i forgot to modify it 😅.

this is an updated debug.log from today,if it helps.

The paste does not exists.

also, I can't find the launcher_log.txt

It should be directly in your game directory.

First of all it looks like this world got corrupted: minecraft/saves/ARCHAKgaming EP30
The error why you can't create a world is a mod has incorrectly named a vanilla tag:

Quote

Non [a-z0-9/._-] character in path of location: minecraft:tags/items/arrows 3.json

Unfortunately the log gives no information about which Mod cause this issue.
Make sure you are using the latests version of all Mods for the minecraft version you are using.
If the error still remains you could try to remove all Mods which add custom Arrow.

This says your save is corrupted.

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com  You should also read the support forum sticky post.

I guess appliecraft-1.0.5.jar is your mod and it contains the tag file with the invalid space in the name "pickaxe 2"

The others are

Those tag files aren't going to work unless you match the exact name of the minecraft tag, e.g. it has to be arrows.json

Well the problem is that my IDE (IntelliJ) somehow creates multiple copies of everything in build -> resources  (for example arrows 3.json) and every time I delete it, and do the build action in gradle -> build again to get the jar file , it just keeps on doing it.

    • So me and a couple of friends are playing with a shitpost mod pack and one of the mods in the pack is corail tombstone and for some reason there is a problem with it, where on death to fire the player will get kicked out of the server and the tombstone will not spawn basically deleting an entire inventory, it doesn't matter what type of fire it is, whether it's from vanilla fire/lava, or from modded fire like ice&fire/lycanites and it's common enough to where everyone on the server has experienced at least once or twice and it doesn't give any crash log. a solution to this would be much appreciated thank you!
    • It is 1.12.2 - I have no idea if there is a 1.12 pack
    • Okay, but does the modpack works with 1.12 or just with 1.12.2, because I need the Forge client specifically for Minecraft 1.12, not 1.12.2
    • Version 1.19 - Forge 41.0.63 I want to create a wolf entity that I can ride, so far it seems to be working, but the problem is that when I get on the wolf, I can’t control it. I then discovered that the issue is that the server doesn’t detect that I’m riding the wolf, so I’m struggling with synchronization. However, it seems to not be working properly. As I understand it, the server receives the packet but doesn’t register it correctly. I’m a bit new to Java, and I’ll try to provide all the relevant code and prints *The comments and prints are translated by chatgpt since they were originally in Spanish* Thank you very much in advance No player is mounted, or the passenger is not a player.
