Hello, I'm new here, and there is a mod that has caused me many errors, after solving them, I got one in particular that I don't know how to fix and that's why I came here, to see if you could help me with that error. The error is exactly from the waila mod, but I have it installed from the "wthit" mod. When I open Minecraft, it doesn't crash, I get an error screen that says,

"1 Error Loading Mods
1 error has occurred during loading

waila (waila) has failed to load correctly
java.lang.noclassdeffounderror:
net/minecraftforge/client/event/rendergameoverlayEvent$Post"

and then there are three buttons, one to open the mods folder, one to view latest.log and one to view the crash. I need help, I don't know what to do.

The version of Waila you are using is written for an older version of Forge, make sure you use the latest version of Waila.

I think Waila don't support 1.19?

You're right the latest version of Waila is for 1.11.2.

@Alkroistyou can remove Waila.

Waila is a very old mod that is no longer maintained, you should use one of its modern forks like wthit or jade

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com  You should also read the support forum sticky post.

Yeah, but I have a mini mod pack, or I don't know what to call it, that brings two mods, the hwyla, and the waila, which is almost the same, because it's the only way to have the latest version of the mods, and the error is from the waila. And I have the latest version of the mod.

You're right, although I don't think that's it.

It's the mod I have, the wthit, but it's like a minipack with 2 mods, the Waila and the Hwyla.

But I haven't installed waila, I've installed wthit, but inside wthit, it's like it has Waila and Hwyla integrated because I haven't really installed Waila.

Just make sure you have the latest/correct version of wthit for your version of minecraft.

If that doesn't fix it, contact the mod author.

It's already 10 posts into this question and all there is guesswork because the original poster didn't post the full error message or the logs.

This latest one (released yesterday) says it supports 1.19, 1.19.1 and 1.19.2: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/wthit-forge/files/3944308

Wait a minute... But if I download the latest version of the mod wthit! well, the version I had was the penultimate one and I installed the latest one and now it works for me, thanks for your help, but I think the curseforge page didn't load properly and now it does. FIXED UP!! 🙂
