Luis_ST Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 (edited) Keep this Forums in English please. This error is often indicative of an outdated Java version. Please ensure your Java version is up to date. You can download OpenJDK from the Adoptium project. If the error persists after updating your Java version, please post the installer log as well as the contents of %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts (Windows) or /etc/hosts (Mac, Linux). Luis_ST Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Please keep this Forums in english. Just now, YotSuS said: Help me to fix the error I have with forge. (translated) This is strange you are be able to connect but java not. I would recommend you to reinstall java completely via removing all java version you have installed. Then install java (OpenJDK) 17 from the Adoptium project. Quote
warjort Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Can you connect to this: https://launchermeta.mojang.com/mc/game/version_manifest.json On the command line type and post the output here. java --version Quote Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one. If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com You should also read the support forum sticky post.

warjort Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 That 51.68.172.243 is not the mojang download site. When I connect to it, it doesn't even support https and the response to http is "forbidden". As administrator edit your hosts file and remove that line. Then reboot windows and try the installer again. Quote Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. Cuando me conecto a él, ni siquiera es compatible con https y la respuesta a http es "prohibida". Como administrador, edite el archivo hosts y elimine esa línea. A continuación, reinicie Windows e intente el instalador de nuevo. ok, then i'll edit it and restart. Quote
