is forge installer meant to come up with this if not what do i do

after opening forge installer its came up saying.

how do you want to open this .jar file? then it list me some options (such as internet explorer).

ive clicked on some of the options and couldnt figure it out. what do i do here ?

Some zip managers like to take control of the .jar file extension away from Java.
If you want to install Forge you need to run Jarfix once.

The last thing you can do is to run the installer manually from the Console/Terminal.

It's not sketchy.

Another way you could solve the issue is to uninstall your java and reinstall it.

This assumes your java installer actually adds the file association for .jar files.
