Posted August 25, 201312 yr Hi everyone, I'm here to report that some of the textures on some mods in on Minecraft 1.6.2 are bugged, and they are all pink and black. Can someone fix this? https://www.dropbox.com/s/a8nygwk6z3k3xp0/Screen%20Shot%202013-08-25%20at%206.44.20%20PM.png These are some machines from the "Complex Machines" mod. https://www.dropbox.com/s/00kspf0lry9dvqj/Screen%20Shot%202013-08-25%20at%206.42.54%20PM.png This is me wearing Quantum Armor from IC2
August 25, 201312 yr Mod not written properly, either coding issue on their end or they didn't pack the texture properly. Not a forge problem. Read the EAQ before posting! OR ELSE! This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project. www.forgeessentials.com Don't PM me, I don't check this account unless I have to.
August 25, 201312 yr Author So you're trying to say that IC2 is not coded properly? And even so, why during 1.6.2? I've never had this problem before.
August 26, 201312 yr I have this problem in IC2 1.6.2 as well. File a bug report with the mods. Read the EAQ before posting! OR ELSE! This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project. www.forgeessentials.com Don't PM me, I don't check this account unless I have to.
August 26, 201312 yr pink and black is the 'missing' texture. If you have it then you're missing the real texture those blocks tried to stitch in. Or, smething is binding the wrong texture. Neither are Forge's issue. I'd start by checking your log file to see if it says anything is missing. I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. August 26, 201312 yr Then your texture pack is screwed up. However, it should use the defaults if they arnt there. So it'd still be the mods that are messed up. I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. Consider supporting the team on Patreon
August 26, 201312 yr The same thing you should of done in the first place: 1) Speak to the mod authors of the effected mods. 2) LOGS LOGS LOGS LOGS LOGS LOGS LOGS LOGS LOGS LOGS LOGS LOGS LOGS LOGS I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. That would fuck things up. But ya doesn't seem to be a Forge issue. I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. Consider supporting the team on Patreon
