Is it possible to make a mod where you can mind controlling a player?

I have currently an Mod Idea that you can possess any Mob and Player where you can control the Mob and the Player by yourself.

Is it possible to do that without teleporting?

in theory, yes. but it doesn't matter.

 

why do we play games?

because we want to do what we want to do. which is why nobody wants mods that restrain players or mind control them. that's absolutely opposite of why we start the game.

I think something (a mob, a pylon, whatever) that does temporary mind control is a neat idea. Just so long as it's not over the top in terms of duration, or insta-kill or anything like that. Cool idea!
