Force updating to MCP 8.05?

I was wonder why forge is not downloading the 8.05 version of mcp when the installer is launched. Did nothing drastically change in that version or something?

I figured out how to change the config files to download a different of mcp. But I still am running into a tiny problem. When run the install script the first thing I see if a notice that while patching commands.py hunk #1 has failed.

After looking into it I found that the issue is cause by a slight change the commands.py file that seems to not require that part of the patch. I was able to "resolve" it lets say. Still I was wondering if such a change is already on deck or would it be worth my time to submit a modified patch upstream?

Thanks in advance.

8.05 merely contains some fixes all of which have been done in the FML version of 8.04. Nothing to worry about.

You're not supposed to be downloading other versions of MCP, it might break FML/Forge and is totally unsupported.

This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project.
