November 14, 201311 yr Try to use the forgemodloader. Its better PM's regarding modding questions should belong in the Modder Support sub-forum and won't be answered.
November 14, 201311 yr Uh sorry i thought that this was a moadloader file. Yo will need to set your mod parameters first. Use this tutorial: http://www.minecraftforge.net/wiki/Basic_Modding PM's regarding modding questions should belong in the Modder Support sub-forum and won't be answered.
November 15, 201311 yr Firstly, use FML... Secondly, the load() method will do ABSOLUTELY jack squat without it being an initialization event. (Which involves using FML) The load method should look like this: @EventHandler public void load(FMLInitializationEvent event) { // Insert Initialized Code Here } -Mitchellbrine Minecraft can do ANYTHING, it's coded in Java and you got the full power of Java behind you when you code. So nothing is impossible. It may be freaking fucking hard though, but still possible If you create a topic on Modder Support, live by this motto: I don't want your charity, I want your information
November 15, 201311 yr ModLoader mod support was removed 5 days ago. Deprecation warnings have been out for a while. You need to update to the ForgeModLoader (@Mod) mod system.
November 15, 201311 yr Firstly, use FML... Better yet, don't. FML is just an API to turn ModLoader calls into Forge calls. There's ZERO reason to do that if you're trying to work with Forge. Unless you want the extra overhead of multiple unnecessary dot references and function calls. Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
