I was going to make a server for my technic launcher pack when I've come around a problem. The forge server won't even start, I used the recommended build for 1.5.2. Then I created a new and empty folder and used the forge installer on it but i kept getting this: (I used the pause command, otherwise it would turn on and immediately off)

And before you ask for the forge log, there was nothing generated inside the folder.

Did you rename your minecraft server jar?

Read the EAQ before posting! OR ELSE!

This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project.

Hah, nope! I did not delete the "1.5.2" ext. on the minecraft server jar so I guess forge couldn't find it. I figured I did something stupidly wrong. Thanks for the help.

Actually 1.5.2 is before they started including the version number in the file name, so you MUST remove it.

Or, you could add the jar to your class path manually.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
