How do I fix the error with the X Y Z variable or make it so it knows that the X Y Z are.

Use your IDE's code hinting abilities.

event.blockMetadata

BTW, at this line:

if (event.block.blockID == 1398 && meta == 2) {

dont use direct id's, but use it like this:

if (event.block.blockID == your_block.blockID && meta == 2) {

Don't PM me with questions. They will be ignored! Make a thread on the appropriate board for support.

	for (ItemStack stack : OreDictionary.getOres("oreCopper"))
	{
		if (event.block.blockID == stack.itemID) {
			event.drops.clear();
			event.dropChance = 1.0F;
			event.drops.add(new ItemStack(Items.copperfragments, random.nextInt(2) + 1));
			break;
		}
	}

Works with any ore registered within the ore dictionary as Copper Ore.
