Posted January 18, 201411 yr hi, im making a Final Fantacy mod with a friend, one of the things that is in it is classes, for arguments sake there is a variable level=0 that is changed over time depending on how often you use the tool of your class (archer=bow etc) then it is written using public void writeEntityToNBT(NBTTagCompound par1NBTTagCompound){ nbt.setInt("level"this.level); } now EntityPlayer has this function, how do i make it so the player has this written to there file using nbt but without modifying the EntityPlayer class as your not aloud to do that now thanks for the help <iframe src="http://widget.mcf.li/mc-mods/minecraft/225523-gnomgnoms-utils" width="100%" style="border: none;"></iframe>
January 18, 201411 yr //in any class that is not EntityPlayer public void someGenericFunctionThatPassesEntityPlayer(EntityPlayer player) { player.entityData.setInteger("level",someValue); } Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.
