Let's just say, TMI is an old world mod and does not really like FML.

Use NEI instead, it's so much better, it's fully compatible with Forge/FML and also, does not have to be placed in the minecraft.jar.

This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project.
