Hello MCF forums i would like to know how you make custom block models in 1.7.2 with techne. Please link me to a video because i have failed to find one that uses techne.

You don't need to see a video. Use a TileEntitySpecialRenderer with your model. Register the renderer in your client proxy. Make sure the block is not a full 1m block. Then... TA DA! You're finished!

also does any one have a working version of techne because mine doesnt work any more

i know i download it and run it but all it says is "verifying application requirements. this may take a few moments"  is this because im on win8.1 because it used to work just fine.

I'm on win 8.1 to,  I've never had probelms completely remove it and try reinstall it and then give it time

nope it still wont work.

assuming you did delete every file relating to techne not just uninstall it, if you have another pc or laptop in your house try it on that and see if that works

ok i just un-installed it so where is the default location for all the files?

C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\ZeuX and r4wk

I'm searching my pc I'll let you know of anything at all that links even the shortcut as above.

 

Ok im confused the shortcut links to a folder with the shortcut in it, hmmm have you asked the techne people?

You have to be patient.

For me it takes 5 minutes saying "Verifying Application Requirements..." before it actually starts up.

Yes, I often think it is not working because it will take long time to start up, can even disappear for a moment.  Give it time.
