I have recently tried to install Forge for my Minecraft, version 1.2.5, and it refuses to work. I start with a fresh copy of minecraft.jar, drop in the ModLoader, delete that META-INF junk, then add the Forge files. And what does minecraft do? Gets stuck on Updating Minecraft screen. I dont know how to view an error log, im still halfway new to MineCraft and modding it and what-not, so any help would be nice. I am opening the files with 7zip. If you guys have any suggestions, please give them too me.

Error log, or you're not getting help. 99% of the time you simple did not follow the install instructions properly.

We cant tell without the error log.

If you don't know how to get one, you should try doing a little bit of research to figure it out.

Thanks LexManos. Your comment didnt directly help, but it did sort of help. In trying to find out how to get an error log, I installed MC Patcher, and installed the mods using it. Now it all works. Dont why, not sure what i even did wrong, but it works now. Thanks again
