Mods by djoslin do not work with the newest forge version!

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone. As you requested, I am reporting a serious bug.

This concerns the mods by user djoslin, who has made such awesome stuff as finite liquid, vertical redstone, instawire and more.

When installing these mods with modloader, everything works like a charm. Use forge instead though, and all you manage is the login-screen.

If you start the game, you get the following error message:

      Minecraft has crashed!

      ----------------------

Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem; Unexpected error

This error has been saved to C:\Users\Ouguiya\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\crash-reports\crash-2012-10-02_20.06.19-client.txt for your convenience. Please include a copy of this file if you report this crash to anyone.

I have also attached, as requested, the ForgeModLoader-client-0.txt file

This one here happened when I only used the "vertical redstone" mod, but it happened with the other mods as well, at least as far as I was able to tell.

Hope you can fix this ASAP, since djoslin already took quite long to release this for 1.3.2, and now forge holds me back *smile*.

I will continue posting bug reports for popular mods as they occur.

Thanks for creating this cool mod by the way!

Cheers!

The basemod version has been exposed, however this particular issue is caused by you installing parts of ModLoader over forge. Either way, you shouldnt need to install modloader, or any other base class mod with forge.

But ya, the disconnect basemod event will be fired next fml merge in.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
