A Couple of Bugs

While playing with Minecraft Forge installed, I've encountered a couple of bugs. The Crash Report is here: http://pastebin.com/r7PQzHri

The issue is that I cannot use an axe on anything (the game crashes fairly immediately after trying to do so), and I'm unable to place blocks under water or lava. A friend of mine has been having the same issues. I am using Forge 11.14.0.1239-1.8 and playing on Minecraft 1.8.0. I've not found any other reports of these issues on this board (or anywhere else, though there's limited information). Is this a known bug; any temporary fix?

Update, all of those have been fixed.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

game changed the way you create foods.
for example minecraft 1.21.8 code for the golden apple is
