Is there a way to create brewing recipes? I haven't found anything on it in my searches, and most mods I see use crafting recipes for making potions. Does that mean I'd have to do the same?

The brewing stand is...complex and obfuscated to say the least.

Brewing recipes basically work on a series of bitwise operators, each ingredient performing a given action to flip the desired bits so the end result is the output potion's damage value.

Good luck mucking around with it.

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

haha, that would be a "no" then xD All right ^^ I'll keep that in mind and just use crafting recipes to make potions with.

Wow that looks complicated... I'm not even sure how all of that coding works... Welp! Guess I'll stick with crafting recipes unless there's a tutorial on this, cause I don't understand any of that xD

Yeah, but I don't understand the coding or how to use the events... Also, those look like the 1.8.1 forge versions, and I'm using the 1.7.10 version of forge (since 1.8 isn't fully out yet). I have a lot of mental disorders, so I learn a lot slower then most people. Essentially, I can't figure things out on my own, so if someone doesn't give me step-by-step instructions on how to do it, I can't learn how to do it ^^" I know, I probably shouldn't be doing this kind of stuff if that's the case, but this is the only thing I've found that I really enjoy doing in life ^^"

Yeah, I meant the coding you posted specifically. I've since looked and found it in the 1.7.10 version. I just still have no idea how to use it thanks to my learning disorder ^^" Sorry.

This thread makes me sad because people just post copy-paste-ready code when it's obvious that the OP has little to no programming experience. This is not how learning works.
