Posted December 18, 201410 yr Hello there! First time on these forums. So i have a few mobs in which are only programmed to drop their loot when they're killed by "player" damage and not anything else. I do however have a lance that works by launching a projectile that kills in 5 ticks. This unfortunately doesn't let my mobs drop their loot. Is there a way to set the entity class of my projectile to be set as "player" damage?
December 18, 201410 yr When it inflicts the damage, inflict it as coming from the player that threw it. Arrows do this, I believe, as does TNT. Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.
