Posted February 24, 201510 yr In short, this: CustomPurgeCommand(world) { for (all regions in world) { delete region; } } Right now I'm doing some chunk generation stuff and I'm trying to speed up the process by creating a command that will purge everything with /purge and then reload the generation stuff.
February 24, 201510 yr I believe there are some methods that let you destroy all blocks in a given bounding box. Look at World.class. Maker of the Craft++ mod.
February 24, 201510 yr Author I searched through that, but it seems to work more with changing the state of blocks. There's not really anything having to do with regions, and I think that might be dealt with somewhere else. It's okay though, I can do it manually.
February 24, 201510 yr With Java, you can do anything. new File(DimensionManager.getWorldSaveDirectory()+"/region/r.0.0.mca").delete();//warning: will probably do bad thigns Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.

February 24, 201510 yr Author Wouldn't this replace every block with air? I'm trying to make it recreate the world to see the changes in chunk generation.

Then you could from there call some world generation methods. Look around in world generator classes. Maker of the Craft++ mod.
