June 18, 201510 yr Hi I think that if you have a specific block that your room contains, you can detect if the player is near that specific block or within a certain radius. As far as testing if a player is in the room is beyond me (sounds like there's not really that many ways to do this), that's the only solution that I can seem to think of right now. There was a similar topic on this the other day, the scenario was that the topic author wanted to detect a player that was near a custom block in his mod. Of course, you could use the vanilla testforplayer command in a specific coordinate or radius. Development of Plugins [2012 - 2014] Development of Mods [2012 - Current]
June 18, 201510 yr Author Matters on how big the room is. What are you trying to achieve? If the player is in the room, he is safe from the outside elements.

June 18, 201510 yr If a "sufficiently deep cave" suffices, look at the player's location's sky light value. Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
