Posted November 4, 201212 yr My friend is having some odd problems with Forge 6.0.1.349[before it was #341] and Magic Launcher 1.0.0 Every time he tries to launch Minecraft it suddenly crashes with Forge 6.0.1.341 and now #349]. If he doesn't have any mods within the internal load out part it launches fine. This is the error he's getting. Missing class member: public B c, class: agl, mod: minecraftforge-universal-6.0.1.349.zip And as far as he knows it isn't magic launcher or Minecraft itself, also he's using Java 7 which also isn't the problem. So as far as we're concerned it has to be forge giving him some oddity problems. So as it stands were at a stalemate as to how to fix the problem.
November 4, 201212 yr Update Forge. There's an EAQ for a reason. Read it! "Note that failure to read this will make you look idiotic. You don't want that do you?" -- luacs1998 First rule of bug reports: More information is always better. Oh, and logs OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!!
November 4, 201212 yr Author We're both running the current version of forge and i can play minecraft just fine it's just on his end the game crashes every time. -=EDIT=- Ok we both are now running 6.0.1.355 I can launch the game just fine, my friend on the other hand is still running into problems. He's done a fresh install of 1.4.2 and it will not launch with forge universal 6.0.1.355 as the only mod installed. MagicLauncher 1.0.0 java.home: C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7 java.runtime.name: Java SE Runtime Environment java.runtime.version: 1.7.0_09-b05 os.name: Windows 7 os.version: 6.1 os.arch: x86 sun.arch.data.model: 32 Missing class member: public B c, class: agl, mod: minecraftforge-universal-6.0.1.355.zip *** MagicMinecraftLauncher 1.0.0 *** java.lang.IncompatibleClassChangeError: Implementing class at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method) at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(Unknown Source) at java.security.SecureClassLoader.defineClass(Unknown Source) at java.net.URLClassLoader.defineClass(Unknown Source) at java.net.URLClassLoader.access$100(Unknown Source) at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at magic.launcher.Launcher.main(Unknown Source) This is the error report it gave him. I as well am using Magic Launcher and I'm having no issues.
November 4, 201212 yr The only way that error happens is if he is trying to install Forge on a improper version of the Minecraft jar. So, he need to cleanup and make sure he has the 1.4.2 jar. I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. Consider supporting the team on Patreon
November 4, 201212 yr Author The oddity is that he does have 1.4.2 minecraft.jar file. He deleted the .minecraft folder and ran the default launcher to get it again. But he still has that issue. What I'm thinking is that it's Java 7, but that's just me.
November 5, 201212 yr Java 7 has nothing to do with this, its a screwed up install. I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. Consider supporting the team on Patreon
November 5, 201212 yr Try again without magiclauncher. I personally use [lmgtfy]MultiMC[/lmgtfy]. Read the EAQ before posting! OR ELSE! This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project. www.forgeessentials.com Don't PM me, I don't check this account unless I have to.
