Disconnected from Server: This Server Requires you to Have Minecraft Forge

Hey guys! New to the Minecraft Forge forums and so far, I gotta say, Job well done with everything guys!

 

I have a slight problem, I don't know if its in General Discussion or Bugs/Support , hopefully It works anyways -but, I just recently downloaded the latest minecraft forge for both server and client, on client I downloaded modloader and then minecraft forge, and I can get on with single player but when I try to join my server, it gives me the message: " Disconnected from Server: This Server Requires you to Have Minecraft Forge installed" but I already have it installed. I don't knwo what else to do, I've researched all over and can't find the answer. ): Any help would be appreciated it! I've force updated, done it over and over again, started from scratch, but no go.

you have to have at least one mod installed smp for it too run. also if your running a server i suggest you use the bukkit mod version http://www.mcportcentral.co.za/ it runs alot faster and you can use bukkit plugins. It come pre packaged with forge

Umm no, you are using something that overwrites some of Forge's base classes, namely adl.class

Most likely is you're doing something stupid and installing ModLoaderMP after forge. Don't do this.
